Title I "Supplement, not Supplant": Submit Comments to US ED by Nov 7!
On August 25th, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) posted their ESSA State Plan Draft #1 for public comment.
On September 1st, Partners for released a Reader's Guide for the ISBE ESSA State Plan Draft #1. The Reader’s Guide is designed to assist ISBE in communicating about the development of their State Plan, and to prepare stakeholders and frame conversations to be held moving forward.
This document was developed in collaboration with ISBE and our Illinois Partners.
This Reader's Guide was updated on September 23rd, 2016 to reflect the amendment made to the ISBE ESSA State Plan Draft #1, section 3.1 on September 16th.

A Handbook for Meaningful Stakeholder Engagement
